Benny A. Amarone, Jr. M.S.
Director of Admissions
Ben brings over 15 years of admissions experience to Albertus ranging from high school
admissions, online graduate recruitment and traditional undergraduate enrollment.
He is a graduate of Notre Dame High School in West Haven, CT. He earned a bachelor's
degree from Marist College, and later went on to complete his MS in Organizational
Leadership at Quinnipiac University.
Ben oversees the daily functions of the admissions office and frequently meets with School Counselors and Community Leaders discussing the benefits of an Albertus Magnus education.

Gina D'Agostino '13, '14 M.B.A.
Senior Assistant Director of Admissions
Gina graduated from Albertus Magnus College in 2013 with a Bachelor of Science in
Marketing Management, in 2014 with a Master of Business Administration, and in 2018
with a Master of Science in Management and Organizational Leadership. Gina travels
to schools in Ansonia, Bethany, Cheshire, Hamden, Meriden, North Haven, Orange, Woodbridge
and select schools in New Haven county in Connecticut and in Westchester county in
New York. Gina is also responsible for coordinating all Office of Admission events.
Katie Santacroce
Assistant Director of Admissions
Katie assists applicants from Hartford, Portland, Middletown, Middlefield, Wallingford,
Durham, Prospect, Beacon Falls, Derby, Shelton, Trumbull, North Branford, Branford,
Guilford, Madison, West Haven and select schools in Bridgeport and New Haven.
Danielle Schlough
Admissions Counselor
Danielle travels in New Haven, New London, Tolland, Middlesex, and Windham Counties
in CT, as well as Massachusetts and Rhode Island. She visits Connecticut community
colleges and works with transfer students. Danielle is the Co-Director of the Admission
Ambassador Program, and serves as the group tour and travel coordinator.
Carli Matrisian '15
Admissions Counselor
Carli travels in Milford and Fairfield County, CT. Her out-of-state travel includes
select schools in the Bronx, NY and New Jersey. Carli serves as the Athletic Liaison
in the Admissions Department.
Felicia Davidson
Admissions Counselor
Felicia travels in Long Island and Queens, as well as Putnam, Dutchess, and Orange
County, New York. Her CT territory includes Hartford and Litchfield County, as well
as select schools in New Haven. Felicia is Co-Director of the Admission Ambassador
Program.
Sr. Ana Gonzalez, O.P.
Coordinator of International Admissions
A proud Fronteriza, Sr. Ana brings to Albertus a multicultural awareness and global
understanding. She attained her bachelor's from Loyola University, New Orleans, LA
and her master's from the University of Texas at El Paso, TX. She was welcomed in
July, 2018 as temporary vowed member of the Dominican Sisters of Peace.
As the coordinator of international admissions, Sr. Ana works with international students seeking a cross-cultural experience of encounter for the promotion of global awareness and peace while attain a quality education at Albertus Magnus College.
Margaret Melillo
Receptionist & Event Coordinator
Marge is a member of the Enrollment Operations Team for the Office of Admission Traditional
Undergraduate Program. She assists in all aspects of office duties and works closely
with the admission counselors on the coordination of special event projects and the
processing of applications. As receptionist, she welcomes all visitors to the Office
of Admission.
Shavonn Brannon
Sr. Enrollment Coordinator & Admissions Ambassador Manager
Shavonn assists with overall office operation and helps students through application
process. She also processes all applications to the Office of Admission Traditional
Undergraduate program.
