Student Government
The Student Government Association represents the voice of the student body at Albertus Magnus College. SGA officers are selected each year. SGA governs all student organizations and distributes student activity fee money as appropriate to student organizations through the funding request process.
SGA also serves as the student run programming board on campus. Its purpose is to plan and execute a variety of successful events reflective of the diverse interests and needs of the student body. SGA also plans and implements the Albertus@Night Late Night Programming Series on the weekends. SGA strives, through its programming, to provide entertaining, recreational, educational and cultural programs which contribute to a cohesive campus community.
If students are looking to get involved, they are encouraged to join the Volunteer Committee, which is a committee of students that volunteer their time to help out with events. Members of the Volunteer Committee assist with the planning and implementation of campus events and activities throughout the year. For more information, visit SGA in their office in the Hubert Campus Center, Room 122, by telephone at 203-401-6192, or email them at sga@albertus.edu.
